My name is Saraya and I am a professional photographer located in Oklahoma. I can easily travel to Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, & Arkansas, but I will travel worldwide. My name is pronounced Suh-ray-uh, just like a ray of sunshine. I have two children and I am married to the love of my life (six years and counting!). We have 5 furry friends – 3 cats and 2 dogs. We also have over 70 houseplants! 

When I’m snapping photos, I want to capture your moods. In other words, if you are feeling ecstatic, goofy, or stoic… I want to document it all. Be yourself, let your freak flag fly and watch the magic happen. You deserve photos that are unique, timeless, but above all 100% you. Above all, I love capturing people in their element; whether it is downtown in the city, the mountains, woods, at the lake, or in a backyard. Anywhere can be beautiful, however, I have favorite locations if you’re lacking ideas.

I also have worked as a surgical tech, so my attention to detail is borderline obsessive. The ability to notice the little things is very important when taking and editing photos. My passions are enjoyable because I am able to get the best of both worlds. I can unleash my creativity and also think critically. In addition, I can share plenty of gross medical stories with you, if you’re into that sort of thing. 

In addition to taking photos, I’m also a full-time student at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (go dawgs!). I am working on a Biomedical Science major with a Chemistry minor. Knowledge is never wasted, so a lot of my time is spent studying and learning new things. There are a limited amount of openings during the school year, so keep that in mind if you are wanting to book fall, Christmas, or spring photos.

I’m a little obsessed with sharks, candy, chai lattes, and buffalo sauce. My favorite colors are gray, purple, and teal, therefore most of the things I own are these three colors. I’m a Slytherin, INTJ, lefty, and I really enjoy wasting time with a good video game. Since I am a southpaw, my right hand’s primary use is for holding a camera. My camera bag is basically a black hole that doubles as a survivor kit, so come get lost with me!
